Carolina (Sorrel 2004) joined the EC Quarter Horse program exclusively in the fall of 2013, along side three of her daughters.  

Five wins to eight starts 2 - 3 rds,  $415,047 Lifetime Earnings. 

Carolina won under the direction of a Smith partnership and won her first graded stakes victory in the Heritage Place Futurity at Remington Park.

Her three year old year would see her win the Remington Park Derby, and be a finalist in the Heritage Park Derby and Texas Classic Derby.  In 2008 she was retired to become a very productive broodmare.  With progeny winnings over $1,116,702.00

Burbank owned her entire life by Stanley and his wife Weetona,  First Prize Dash is a 1988 daughter of former leading sire Dash For Cash out of the Gallant Jet mare First Prize Rose. First Prize Dash died in 2012 and is the only horse buried at Heritage Place in Oklahoma City.

Denver Pass is the first foal to race from Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner First Carolina, an earner of more than $415,000. Denver Pass came into the trials off a win in the Rainbow Juvenile at Ruidoso Downs on July 25th. He is 2-1-1 in four starts this season with earnings of $21,904. Race time: September 5,2011 - 4:45 10th Race www.qracingvideo.com   He finished 7th in the race.  

Denver Pass qualifying off the rail on Thursday's All American trials.  Ruidoso Downs PhotoRUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—AUGUST 18, 2011—Weetona Stanley and William Smith’s Corona Cartel colt Denver Pass finished second to Jess Cuervo in the 25th trial with a :21.336 time, the 6th fastest to the Grade 1, $2.4-million All American Futurity.  Denver Pass and Jess Guervo were the only horses to qualify in the final 10 races of the day.  The horses with the 10-fastest times from the 26 440-yard trials qualified to run on Labor Day in the All American Futurity, the richest race in North America for two-year-old racehorses of any breed. The winner receives a winner’s check of $1.2 million, the largest winner’s share in quarter horse history.
